  • Lead and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability in all development projects.
  • Mentor and support junior developers by providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the development team.

This position is responsible for analysing, optimising and enhancing our real-time IoT framework, and building and maintaining support for current and future devices that Brambles uses to monitor and improve the supply chains of Brambles’ customers.

The success and viability of the real-time IoT framework requires a well-defined modular and architecture focusing on performance and semantic adaptability, especially considering the long lifetime of the system, the need for 99.9% uptime and the evolving nature of the requirements.

  • Excellent understanding of enterprise applications, cloud computing, algorithms on large data sets, event-driven data processing, and user interface technologies
  • Proven technical leadership in multiple complex software projects
  • Expertise in analysing and designing for performance of large-scale software systems
