Job summary

Napthens LLP in Lancashire is seeking a Developer (Workflow & Reporting) to join the Technology Department in Preston and Blackburn with a hybrid working pattern. The role is designed to grow into a full developer position with hands‑on experience across workflows, reporting, and system improvements.

Your day-to-day involves supporting development of workflow-based systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating across the business to test and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Exposure to workflows, reporting, or databases.
• Any coding or scripting experience.
• Power BI / SQL or similar tools.
• M365 Experience.
• Legal sector or case management experience (e.g. Proclaim).

IT Technology Team / Development | Reporting to the Development Manager

It is not very often we hire a developer, in fact this might be the first time in the last 4 years?!

Therefore, we are pleased to have created a new role working in the development team of the Technology Department.

This role is designed to grow into a full developer position, with hands‑on experience across workflows, reporting, and system improvements.
