You will contribute to the development of software, work on improving existing systems, and collaborate closely with experienced developers and product owners. Candidates should have experience in .NET, Java, or Python, and an eagerness to learn new technologies. This role offers a hybrid working model and numerous benefits to support your well-being and professional development.
At UK Biobank, we’re modernising the systems that underpin vital research, ensuring our technology is as forward-thinking and robust as the discoveries it supports. Our Development team plays a key role in this transformation designing, building, and maintaining software that helps researchers unlock new scientific insights while strengthening the reliability, scalability, and long-term value of our systems.
This is your opportunity to grow as a developer in an environment built on collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects from day one, gaining hands‑on experience across the full development lifecycle and developing the skills to build secure, high‑quality software that makes a genuine impact.
Working closely with experienced Developers and Product Owners, you’ll help design, develop, and support applications that power our data and research platforms.
