A company focused on employee engagement is looking for a Developer to enhance their platform. This remote-first position requires expertise in PHP and React while participating in design and code reviews. Candidates should be problem-solvers with a passion for growth. Flexible work arrangements, 25 days of annual leave, and a supportive work culture are offered in a team-oriented environment situated in Bury St Edmunds.
At The Happiness Index we help our customers unlock growth through data, technology and performance-culture expertise.
Our engagement platform gives a live view of a business’ cultural health. Using research-backed surveys and insights you can see what really drives engagement at every stage of the employee journey. Our consultants then turn insights into action by helping our customers build a culture that boosts performance.
Our vision to ‘Unlock the Secrets of Workplace Happiness’ together with our values of ‘Freedom to be human’ is strong and unites us as a team. We want our employees (our Quokkas) to have a great experience at The Happiness Index. We believe in encouraging personal and professional growth, cultivating a safe and inspiring environment, and creating space for people to show up as their full selves.
We’re looking for a Developer to work with our close-knit Tech Community to help evolve, develop and scale our platform by helping to develop new features, improve existing features, and support all things tech, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving problems if they arise.
This varied role will work across our tech stack (backend and frontend) so the successful candidate will ideally be familiar with microservices and components that help improve, scale and make our product more robust built on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using PHP and React.
You’ll also work closely with other community teams such as Customer Success and Growth, sharing your expertise and knowledge along the way.
