Overview

What success looks like in this role:

Join our dynamic team providing 24/7 support for mission-critical applications. We are seeking a skilled Dev Support Engineer (Business Information, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to enhance our Command-and-Control services, focusing on management information components. You will be based at Hendon, Greater London or Milton Keynes (3 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and implement software enhancements.

• Identify and resolve issues for end users.

• Analyse and fix interface problems between system components.

• Develop creative solutions and enhancements.

Qualifications

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Minimum Requirements:

• Business Information, JavaScript, HTML, CSS development or support capability.

• Oracle development and scripting experience or similar.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar.

Additional Skills:

• Web Development experience using the above technologies would be advantageous.

• Experience in Application Support and willingness to learn our business information platform.

• Experience with Pandas and other Python data manipulation packages.

• Strong data manipulation skills.

• SQL/Relational Database experience.

• Ability to apply technical expertise in a service delivery environment.

• Develop solutions without impacting system operations.

• A working knowledge of development frameworks such as MVC, MVVM or similar would be beneficial

• Good understanding of ITIL.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience in Public Sector organizations is a plus.
