As part of Rise Grow and Advance into Fixed Income & Currencies you will have the opportunity to take part in a varied schedule covering the below:

  • A four‑day interactive (in‑person) insight programme introducing you to Deutsche Bank and the Financial Services sector focusing on Fixed Income & Currencies.
  • You will gain an understanding of other areas of the bank to broaden your understanding of how each area operates in partnership to fulfil our client needs.
  • Interactive workshops introducing our business, clients, and our role in society.
  • The opportunity to meet inspirational leaders and role models from analysts and associates right through to senior management.
  • Employability skills workshops with the Early Careers team.
  • You will have an opportunity to attend in‑person workshops, interactive or networking sessions to see what goes on behind the scenes.
  • You will have access to a dedicated Deutsche Bank mentor who will be committed to guiding you throughout the programme and supporting your professional journey for 12 months after the programme.

About the Division

Discover the world of financial markets and begin your career in our Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division.

We pride ourselves on being the risk manager of choice for our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and maximise results. We bring together a long‑established sales force with outstanding trading, financing, and structuring expertise.

You’ll gain knowledge of a division that provides innovative solutions to clients across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Emerging Markets and Credit. With a constantly evolving client offering our experience helps us to respond to market trends, deliver for our clients and make a difference in the world.

What we look for

Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal financial background. We have very comprehensive training programmes that will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us. You should not only be passionate about the world of finance but also show a keen interest in your chosen field. To apply for our Programme you must

  • be in the first year of your undergraduate studies, or your second year of a four year course.
  • Have achieved at least 3 A‑Levels at grade AAA, with a minimum grade A in A Level Maths or the UCAS points equivalent (if you studied outside the UK, please research the grade equivalents before proceeding)
  • Possess no more than 12 months full‑time, relevant work experience (this excludes previous internships)

Whilst we are unable to sponsor visas for this particular programme, if you are currently studying in the UK on a Tier 4 Student visa, you must ensure your terms and conditions although for non‑term time working. You may be required to show this to a member of the Early Careers Team.
