Job summary

Thrive Shepton is partnering with a client in Yetminster to recruit a Wholesale Packer for their production team. The role focuses on final quality checks, weight accuracy, and maintaining a clean, compliant packing area.

You will follow detailed procedures, work safely with PPE, and contribute to a productive, team-based environment. Training is provided and a permanent contract may be offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow detailed operating procedures.
• Experience in safe food handling and hygiene.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical fitness for high-activity packing duties.
• Basic understanding of verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final checks of packed products to ensure the correct item and weight.
• Keep the work area tidy and clear at end of shift.
• Ensure compliance with customer, company and site requirements.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Report accidents and absences per site procedures.
• Perform tasks safely following Health & Safety responsibilities.
