Overview

Despatch Operative - Forklift Driver
Harlow
06:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £13.36

Riverway Foods now part of CPC Group, produces quality sausages, with all our pork sourced from British high welfare farms supplying leading retailers, including Aldi and Tesco. We are currently looking for a Despatch Operative to join our busy team. This role will be working within a chilled environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and check orders for dispatch to customers in a timely manner
  • Ensure products are picked and packed in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures
  • Receive and store stock generated by other departments
  • Wrapping stock on pallets
  • Accurately record data relating to vehicle temperatures and hygiene
  • Ensure the storage of stock complies with stock rotation i.e., use-by dates
  • Ensure stock is segregated in the appropriate designated storage where applicable for products containing allergens
  • Report any damage to equipment or to the area working in to management or supervisors
  • Report any Health and Safety hazards within the area, and comply with health and safety rules at all times
  • Have a flexible approach to work to meet changing business requirements
  • Compliance with company policies, practices and standard operating procedures
Skills Required
