Job summary

LGC Standards, a division of LGC Group, is seeking a reliable Despatch Operative to join the busy operations team in the UK. You will pick, pack, label and dispatch customer orders and support general warehouse activities to ensure on-time delivery.

Meticulous attention to detail, good numeracy and IT skills are essential. You will work within a fast-paced environment, contributing to quality customer experiences and maintaining safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from warehouse locations to fulfil customer orders.
• Print shipping labels, courier documentation and associated paperwork.
• Label, package and prepare products for dispatch in line with procedures.
• Book shipments with courier providers and record dispatch information.
• Complete basic administrative duties and maintain accurate records.
• Receive stock deliveries and book stock onto systems.
• Ensure orders are dispatched within agreed timelines.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in handling products and paperwork.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and keep the working environment clean and organised.
• Support wider operations with warehouse and logistics activities as required.
• Undertake IATA and ADG Dangerous Goods packing activities after accredited training.

• Label, package, and prepare products for dispatch in line with company procedures.
• Book shipments with a variety of courier providers and ensure all dispatch information is correctly recorded.
• Complete basic administrative duties, including updating records and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Receive incoming stock deliveries and accurately book stock onto company systems.
• Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched within agreed timelines.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when handling products and documentation.
• Follow company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Support the wider operations team with general warehouse and logistics activities as required.
• Undertake IATA and ADG Dangerous Goods packing activities following completion of accredited training provided by an external training provider.We are looking for a reliable and organised Despatch Operative to join our busy operations team.
