Job summary

Albert Bartlett in Boston, Lincolnshire, is recruiting a Despatch Operative for our fresh potato packing site. The role features a rolling 4 days on, 4 days off shift from 6am to 6pm with pay at £13.70 per hour.

You will pick and pack orders, label and document dispatch items, load/unload vehicles, and keep the despatch area stocked and safe. Previous despatch or warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are valued in this busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labelling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and ensure that they are stored in the correct locations.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain an organized despatch area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following company policies and procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work:

4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm

Salary:

£13.70 per hour
