Your Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Coordinator based in Corby, Northamptonshire. In this role the job holder will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the weighbridge and carrying out routine weighbridge tasks in connection with all goods vehicles coming onto and leaving the site. The role also requires providing cover and support for the Materials Controller and relief cover for other staff in the office when required. This position follows a weekly rotating shift pattern alternating between 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Your Responsibilities
  • To undertake and promote Safety & Health requirements in accordance with company and site procedures, programmes and targets.
  • Efficient and accurate operation of the weighbridge.
  • Ensure accurate receipt and despatch weighing’s of all bulk movements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate weighing of all incoming and outgoing vehicles delivering stock items.
  • Ensure all Cereform weighing’s are accurately recorded and assist with any queries as required.
  • Ensure accurate issue and receipt of all relevant documentation.
  • Timely and accurate completion and filing of paperwork.
  • Within all operations ensure that actions and records conform to Company and SOX requirements.
  • Accurate completion of all relevant data entry.
  • Ensure weekly bin dips are completed and accurately recorded.
  • Provide support and cover for the Materials Controller.
  • Assist and provide cover in other departments as and when required.
