Our client, a growing home interiors business with multiple brands, is seeking a talented Mid-weight Designer to join their marketing and creative team in Brighton on a fixed-term contract basis. This hands‑on role will focus on designing and optimising websites and e‑commerce platforms across their portfolio, while also contributing to broader digital and brand projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimise website layouts, e-commerce pages, and client portals with a focus on usability, accessibility, and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with developers during website migrations, ensuring designs translate effectively into functional builds.
  • Contribute to digital campaigns, email templates, and social media assets.
  • Support brand refresh projects and maintain visual consistency across all digital touchpoints for multiple brands.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years’ experience in design with a strong portfolio showing digital and website work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user journeys, and conversion-focused website design.
  • Experience optimising website structure, navigation, and overall digital experience.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and communicative.
Desirable
  • Skills in Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
  • Photography experience (product or lifestyle).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (Umbraco preferred) or project management tools.
