Summary Working as a member of the school pastoral team you will take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school, including online safety. The postholder will play a key role in creating a safe and welcoming learning environment.
The postholder will review, design and implement policy and procedures and will advise and train members of staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters, and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and the police.
Applicants should be resilient, flexible, determined, have experience of working with young people, be well organiser and efficient with excellent ICT and communication skills and ideally experience of working in a school. They will be capable of handling a demanding workload and be able to successfully prioritise work.
This is a permanent, full time, full year role as it will be essential that our students and families have access to support all year round.
