Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their practical skills in Design & Technology.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Design & Technology and incorporate new technologies into the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Design & Technology teaching.
  • Actively close gaps in attainment and achievement between pupils and all groups of pupils.
  • Monitor and promote the involvement of all groups of pupils in the extra-curricular life of the school.
