Design & Technology Teacher – Permanent, January 2026

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will be supporting students with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and hands‑on learning. You’ll work with small groups of students who benefit from structured teaching, clear routines, and a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering creative and practical Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Adapting teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities
• Creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Using high‑quality equipment and workshop spaces to bring learning to life
• Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to support students’ academic and personal development
• Contributing to curriculum development and sharing ideas within the department
• Providing clear structure, routine, and positive behaviour support to ensure students feel safe and confident
• Tracking progress, assessing learning, and reporting outcomes effectively
• Helping students develop resilience, independence, and problem‑solving skills through practical learning
