Your Role as a Design & Technology Teacher
  • Deliver inspiring lessons in Design & Technology across KS3, KS4, and KS5, including Product Design and Resistant Materials.
  • Encourage students to engage with practical, hands‑on projects and creative problem‑solving.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with the department to develop and improve the curriculum.
  • Support students' participation in extra‑curricular activities, such as technology clubs and competitions.
Qualified Design & Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • A passion for creative and practical subjects and the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching a wide range of Design & Technology topics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
