  • Support practical learning: foster a hands‑on learning approach with projects that challenge students to apply their technical skills.
  • Monitor student progress: track and assess students' projects and assignments, providing constructive feedback to enhance their development.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching design technology, preferably in an independent school setting.
  • Passionate about Design & Technology with the ability to inspire students.
  • Skilled in multiple disciplines: product design, CAD, engineering, and other DT subjects.
  • Creative & practical approach to teaching, encouraging students to explore and experiment.
  • Empathetic & supportive teaching style, able to guide students of various abilities and backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Experience with cutting‑edge design facilities – state‑of‑the‑art workshops, CAD software, and design technology labs.
  • Robust curriculum delivery covering product design, engineering, and technological innovation.
