Overview

A teacher is required to teach Design & Technology(not food technology) at a school in Barton under Needwood from January 2026 initially until the summer.

Your Role

• Teach engaging lessons aligned with current National Curriculum, adapting to different classroom settings
• Some planning and marking may be required.
• Ensure lessons align with curriculum goals & support student growth
• Build strong relationships with students & school staff to foster a positive learning environment

Essentially, as a Design & Technology Teacher, you must also be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. The salary paid will relate to the scale point for qualified teachers applicable to the successful applicant.

Applicants for this position of Design & Technology Teacher will initially be screened over the telephone to assess suitability and then be invited for an interview with the agency prior to the interview with the school.

Your Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Applicants need the right to work in the UK
• Previous experience in high school education as an Design & Technology Teacher
• Up-to-date DBS check or availability to complete one
• Provide two referees
