Job description

We are looking for an experienced Design & Technology Teacher to commence in January 2026.

You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning in Design & Technology, inspiring students to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge across a range of disciplines including produce design, engineering, textiles and digital technologies.

Key Responsiblities of Design & Technology Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with national curruiculum
• Teach across Key Stages 3 - 5
• Promote innovation, sustainability and practical skills
• Manage & maintain workshop tools safely and effectively
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• QTS or equivalent
• Preferable but not essential Degree in Design & Technology
• Previous experience in a similar role essential
