Job summary

Into Design Systems is seeking a Design Systems Designer to shape how millions of users explore and plan their visits, within a multi-disciplinary team at a landmark museum and science research centre. You will design, build and maintain components, patterns and tokens within the design system for web and mobile.

Collaborate with developers and UX designers to ensure achievable builds, advocate for design system adoption across stakeholders, and uphold accessibility and UX best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and maintaining design systems across web and mobile
• Strong UI skills with familiarity in creating scalable components
• Deep expertise with Figma libraries and components
• Ability to collaborate with developers and UX designers to ensure feasible builds
• Commitment to accessibility and user experience best practices

The Design Systems Designer will play a key role in shaping how millions of visitors use the website to discover and plan their visit, working in a multi-disciplinary team. The role involves designing, building and maintaining components, patterns and tokens within the design system, overseeing design patterns for colour, typography, spacing and motion across web and mobile, and advocating for design system adoption across stakeholder groups.
