Design Quality Engineer - Aerospace Sector | Broughton | £35 per hour | Contract

A leading global aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Design Quality Engineer to join its Quality Engineering - Airframe Wing team based at the Broughton site. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting international programmes across Europe, America, and Asia, ensuring design quality, process reliability, and continuous improvement within the engineering function.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering and supplier teams to identify and resolve quality issues, enhance product performance, and maintain strict adherence to design and process standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Resposibilities:
  • Lead and deliver quality improvement projects to meet engineering performance targets.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product and process quality.
  • Support the deployment and application of quality standards across engineering teams.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven background in Quality or Engineering disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques (8D, 9S) and FMEA.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
