Are you a skilled Design Project Engineer looking to take ownership of complex, high-impact engineering projects from to completion? Join an established industry leader in the design and manufacture of advanced equipment for material processing and product finishing. We pride ourselves on innovation, precision, and customer focus. You'll play a key role in developing bespoke engineering solutions - working closely with clients and internal teams from initial sales support and design, through installation and commissioning, to aftercare and ongoing support.

  • Lead the design and development of material processing and finishing equipment using SolidWorks.
  • Provide technical input during the sales process and support customer-specific proposals.
  • Manage projects through the full lifecycle - from concept, design, and manufacture to installation and handover.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, service, and sales.
  • Ensure all designs meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
    Proven experience as a Design Engineer or Project Engineer in a related engineering field.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks essential).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) preferred.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
