Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Design Manager with a strong drylining background to lead design from tender through delivery across residential, commercial, leisure and education projects in London.

You will coordinate design packages, review technical information and liaise with clients, consultants and main contractors to ensure practical, compliant designs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Manager / Design Coordinator in drylining.
• Strong knowledge of drywall and partition systems.
• Experience with specialist drylining or interiors contractor.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design packages from inception to completion.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Ensure designs are practical, compliant and installable.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, clients and main contractors.
• Manage design programmes and meet key deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance on drywall, partition, ceilings.
