Design Manager / Design Co-ordinator

Salary: Up to £65,000

My client is a Main Contractor with a turnover of circa £100 million looking to bolster their Design team.

The Role

• Manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring designs are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and timescales.
• Manage and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs meet client and stakeholder requirements, working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial team to deliver within budget and timescales.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on all design-related matters.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Live within or commutable to West Midlands.
• Experience on MOD/MOJ projects or refurbishment/fit-out experience.
