Design Manager - Civils

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 plus package, DoE.

Copello are working with a leading Maritime company who are looking for a Civils Design Manager to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex marine infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of marine and waterfront assets including harbour walls, docks, locks, piling systems, and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary design work covering utilities, pavements, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Manage projects through all phases of the engineering lifecycle, ensuring delivery to scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Apply knowledge of UK regulations, safety legislation, and civil design standards to ensure compliance.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, providing technical leadership and clear communication.
