Job summary

Keyman Personnel seeks an experienced Design Manager in Leicester to lead complex high-rise residential and façade remediation projects, with direct experience engaging the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). You will manage BSR Gateway submissions, respond to RFIs, and oversee the wider design process.

The ideal candidate brings senior technical or design expertise in façade design, building safety and BSR requirements, and comfort leading consultants while coordinating the broader project team.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and coordinating BSR Gateway submissions.
• Experience managing and responding to BSR RFIs.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and fire-safety compliance.
• Experience working on high-rise residential / Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
• Background in façade remediation, recladding or external wall projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultants and manage the wider design process.
• Coordinate drawings and technical information across disciplines.
• Resolve complex technical and compliance issues and verify site information where as-built drawings are limited.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a growing team delivering complex high-rise residential, façade remediation and building safety projects.

This role requires someone with direct experience engaging with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked on BSR Gateway submissions and managed regulatory queries throughout the design process.
