The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, critical infrastructure and energy sectors.
Our client has an established reputation for successfully delivering technically challenging design and build projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team on a major hyperscale data centre development in West London.
The project involves the delivery of a large-scale data centre campus incorporating two hyperscale data centres, an office building and an electrical substation. Early phases of the project have included demolition, remediation, utility diversions, site re-levelling and enabling works, progressing into the full construction phase.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring all design information is coordinated, compliant, buildable and delivered in line with programme, commercial objectives and client requirements.
