Overview

Job Title: Design Manager
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process from concept through to delivery, ensuring designs meet client specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of design engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee technical drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Review design changes, manage approvals, and ensure design integrity throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in civil design management or a senior design engineering role.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
