We are looking for a Design Manager to join a leading Architectural company. in a contract position, outside IR35 (permanent candidates will also be reviewed). You will be required to work onsite 5 days a week in central London. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting office fit out projects.

-Contract rates starting at £320 a day.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and coordinate design teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery.

-Act as main client contact, presenting work and managing communication.

-Mentor team members and promote a collaborative studio environment.

-Oversee schedules, resourcing, and compliance with regulations and standards.

-Drive design quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across projects.

What we are looking for:

-Degree-qualified in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design discipline.

-Must have Architectural background and experience working for a Main/Principal contractor.

-Experience working on high end commercial office fit outs.

-Strong technical and site delivery skills, including detailing, contract admin, and consultant coordination.

-Prior experience on site dealing with contractors, projects in latter RIBA stages, and technical delivery.

-Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
