Belcan is seeking a Design Manager for wastewater projects in Camberley to lead multidisciplinary design teams from concept through to construction. You will ensure designs are affordable, buildable and compliant with programme, budget and quality targets.

You will collaborate with clients, construction teams and supply chain partners to manage risks, changes and delivery milestones, and you will develop Design Management Plans and Project Execution Plans in line with governance and CDM

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong understanding of design management and quality control processes.
• Ability to deliver projects and tenders to programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and associated responsibilities.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing design budgets and forecasting costs.

We're hiring for a Design Manager to join our client's engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the development and delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative and sustainable engineering solutions from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions across project and framework environments, overseeing the entire design lifecycle from initial need identification and optioneering through to detailed design and construction support. You will lead a team of discipline design engineers, ensuring technical solutions are affordable, buildable and aligned with programme objectives. The Design Manager will work collaboratively with clients, construction teams and supply chain partners to enhance project delivery, manage design risks, control design changes and ensure all outputs are delivered within agreed budgets and timescales. You will also develop Design Management Plans and Project Execution Plans while maintaining compliance with governance procedures and CDM regulations.

Requirements

Essential
