Design Manager (4D Modelling) - Leading Tier 1 Contractor

Location: Bristol (Office-based, some project site visits)

Salary: Up to £65,000 + will tailor package dependent upon the individual's experience

Due to a string of recent contract awards, a leading tier 1 contractor is looking for an ambitious Design Manager to join their South West division. The successful Design Manager will work on a mix of tenders and live projects ranging from £10m to £80m in value, across a varied mix of sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, industrial and retail/mixed use.

You will work across planning, design, and digital engineering functions to support major construction projects, producing accurate 4D models. This is a hands‑on role offering exposure to complex projects and the opportunity to shape project delivery.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience in producing 4D models for construction projects.

• Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and buildability. Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
• Proven history working on Education, Healthcare or Commercial projects for a main contractor.
