Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting an experienced Construction Design Manager to join the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. The role involves coordinating design across site and offices to keep buildability and programme delivery on track.

You'll liaise with designers, engineers and subcontractors to resolve clashes, review technical submissions, and ensure designs meet project requirements. This is a long-term position with a strong emphasis on collaboration and design integrity on a major UK

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Design Manager or Construction Design Manager.
• Strong background in construction design coordination and technical delivery.
• Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with site-based and office-based teams.

Our client is involved in complex construction and building services packages on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, requiring strong design coordination and collaboration between site teams, designers, engineers and subcontractors.

This is a long-term opportunity, with the successful candidate working between the site and project offices to ensure designs are coordinated, buildable and delivered in line with programme requirements.
