Overview

Certain Advantage is working in partnership with a leading aerospace organisation seeking a Design Integrator. The successful applicant will support activities and technical topics across the team, and with the wider operational / engineering stakeholders, to meet the needs of the Wide Body programmes.

What will you be doing?

The position combines technical problem-solving with project leadership, ensuring effective design solutions and supporting industrial enhancements. This role provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen technical and leadership skills, build strong cross-functional networks, and contribute to a collaborative co-design culture. It also offers clear potential for professional growth across engineering, production, and programme functions.

  • Lead and manage projects with best practice methods, ensuring solutions are effective from the outset and integrated as end-to-end design changes.
  • Serve as a bridge between Engineering and Operations, promoting co-design practices that balance manufacturing requirements with engineering integrity and customer focus.
  • Identify and implement synergies across PET workstreams, reducing recurring challenges, strengthening design-for-build principles, and improving overall efficiency.
  • Prioritise engineering responses to operational demands while overseeing external suppliers to secure delivery of agreed outputs.
