Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Salary: 35,000 - 37,000 + Early Finish Friday + Company Benefits + Training + Progression

Location: Rochdale

Are you a Design Engineer or similar with a background in Solidworks looking for a position within one of the leading gym equipment manufacturers in the UK who give you the ability to utilise your design skillset, involvement in a full product range revamp and future progression opportunities?

This business is family grown, established in 1995. The company designs and manufactures quality boxing and sporting equipment for acclaimed gyms worldwide, small independent fitness organisations and public customers. They are currently undertaking a whole new product range and are looking to grow their design team to accomplish this.

In this varied role, you will be working with Solidworks to create technical drawings for gym equipment, providing technical support, product testing and improvements. You will work closely with the production team to ensure feasibility and you will see your product drawings come to life as they manufacture on-site. This is a Monday to Friday role, with an early finish on a Friday.

This role would suit a Design Engineer or similar with a background in Solidworks that would like to become part of a family-run business with a passion for creative engineering, receive training to upskill themselves and progress your career.

THE ROLE

• Designing gym equipment using Solidworks
• Product testing and improvements
• Full industry training provided
• Monday - Friday, 38 hour week

THE PERSON

• Any industry experience
• Design Engineer or similar
• Solidworks background
• Commutable to Rochdale
