A leading manufacturer of clean air and containment systems is seeking a Design Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in designing technical equipment and systems for controlled environments, particularly within laboratory, healthcare, or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of clean air and containment products including safety cabinets, isolators, and airflow systems
  • Translate client requirements and internal specifications into detailed engineering solutions
  • Produce CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation for manufacturing and testing
  • Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to ensure product performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance
  • Support product validation and testing activities
  • Stay current with relevant standards, materials, and design practices for controlled environments
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience designing technical equipment for laboratory, healthcare, or cleanroom environments
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Understanding of airflow principles, filtration systems, and contamination control
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and cleanroom classifications is desirable
