Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in the UK is seeking a professional to design solar and energy storage projects. Responsibilities include creating detailed drawing packs and managing PV and BESS projects from start to finish. Job description

Your Tasks

Participate in the design of solar and energy storage projects, from sales phase to construction and commissioning, generating sets of drawings with different levels of detail and preparation of yield assessments

• Adhere to all company policies/procedures, and codes of business ethics including; anti-bribery and QHSE policies.
• Produce accurate and detailed drawing packs for all project stages.
• Create preliminary layout drawings for technical offer returns by ascertaining all relevant site aspects from client supplied reports and further investigation.
• Take direct ownership of PV and BESS projects from acceptance to energisation.
• Provide constant input into project value, design and engineering.
• Aid on-site teams in construction of all required assets and installations.
• Support all other engineering teams in production of technical drawings.
• Prepare as-built layouts and drawing packages.
• Perform regular site-visits for all assigned sites.

Your profile

• A strong understanding of CAD softwares (AutoCAD, Civil3D or similar)
• Experience with Helios, PVCase, PVDesign or equivalent (desirable).
• Knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (desirable).
• Familiarity with OS mapping and land registry.
• An interest in renewable energy and decarbonisation.
• Proven experience in self-coordination and organisation of work.
• Versatile and forward thinking when problem solving.

We are specialised in the design, construction and operation of large-scale solar farms. After seven years of mainly focusing on O&M activities in the United Kingdom, BELECTRIC UK returned to the market as an EPC service provider with full force in 2022.

Operations & Maintenance

Our O&M service offers solar and battery storage system operators an all-in-one solution to secure and improve their systems. The BELECTRIC UK team provides O&M services for more than 25 PV power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 300 MWp throughout the country.

Battery Storage Systems

We do not only support our customers in the field of photovoltaics, but also as a general contractor in the engineering and purchasing of battery storage solutions. On the UK market, hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important.
