We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our Engineering team within the chassis design function. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative vehicle designs by producing accurate 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and build documentation. You will be responsible for managing bills of materials, maintaining drawing records, and ensuring all design outputs meet project specifications and timelines. Working closely with production teams, you’ll help ensure vehicles are built to the correct specification while supporting the sourcing of new materials and technologies to enhance product development.
To be successful in this role, you will bring significant experience in the automotive industry, a strong working knowledge of 3D CAD, and a solid understanding of design for manufacture principles. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and document the full design process effectively.
A minimum of an HNC in mechanical engineering is required, and a genuine passion for design engineering is essential. This is a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment where innovation and precision are key to success.
