Job summary

Technosoft Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking a Design / Sr. Design Engineer – CAB to develop cab design solutions across exterior and interior components.

You will model pressed components, apply CAD methods and drive design for manufacture while coordinating with suppliers and customers to meet requirements. The role requires 4–6 years of experience, a BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent, and strong CAD knowledge (Solid Edge) with FMEA/6 Sigma exposure.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical, Automotive or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in design engineering.
• Proficient in CAD and drawing standards (BS/ISO).
• Experience with CAB design, vehicle exterior and interior trim.

Responsibilities

• Identifying needs, setting requirements, and defining problems.
• Concept, design and detailing of systems and components.
• Communicating design requirements to internal/external customers.
• Overseeing validation of requirements and product lifecycle support.
• Performing FMEA/Risk analyses and applying 6 Sigma concepts.
• Supports field and customer interactions in the UK.
