A growing and forward-thinking sprinkler design organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Revit Sprinkler Designer to lead its design team. This is a leadership-focused role, combining team management and technical oversight with some hands-on design work when required.
Lead and mentor a team of Revit sprinkler designers, driving quality and consistency across projects.
Oversee the design and development of fire sprinkler systems using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
Ensure compliance with fire protection codes and standards (BSEN 12845, NFPA, FM Global).
Conduct quality control reviews and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver accurate, compliant designs.
Support professional development through training initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Balance leadership responsibilities with occasional hands-on design input where needed.
Proven experience in fire sprinkler system design, with strong proficiency in Revit and related BIM software.
Solid knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
Skilled in hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing.
Track record of managing teams and delivering projects to deadline.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Additional certifications (e.g. LPCB Sprinkler) and familiarity with fire alarm or gas suppression systems are advantageous.
Salary up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Fully remote working, with occasional team meet-ups.
