Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Leven. The Design Engineer will create and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems, components, and assemblies, using 3D CAD tools to produce detailed models and drawings. Day‑to‑day tasks include collaborating with maintenance and production teams to improve existing machinery, supporting prototype development and testing, and ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and compliance requirements. The role involves reviewing specifications, preparing technical documentation, resolving design issues on the workshop floor, and contributing to cost‑effective, practical engineering solutions. The Design Engineer will participate in project meetings, communicate with suppliers when required, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
