Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm seeks a Design Engineer for a full-time permanent role in Clevedon, North Somerset. Qualifications

Overview

Our client, based in North Somerset are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their growing team at an employee owned company!

As a member of the Design Team, we would like you to learn and gain electronics and software knowledge to support the application of new product designs and improvement of existing products.

The role is a full time, permanent role and available immediately!

Location - Clevedon, North Somerset

Salary - Circa £45,000

Candidates must be able to evidence previous experience with High Voltage and Power Electronics.

Responsibilities
  • Design, development and support of power and control circuits, both digital and analogue
  • New product implementation as part of the Design Team
  • Writing specifications and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with and support leading experts and academics in the company Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
  • Support of existing products, understanding life cycle and MTBF, managing hardware / firmware issues whilst involves working closely with the customer (internal or external)
  • Apply problem solving techniques
  • Projects may require interfacing with third party products and dealing directly with sub-contractor design teams.
