Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Berinsfield is seeking a motivated Design Engineer. You will be responsible for the design and development of products and providing technical support. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally Siemens NX. This role is fully onsite and offers a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Degree level educated in Mechanical / Design Engineering subject.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (ideally Siemens NX) to create technical drawings.
• Understanding of fluid circuits or electrical systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and development of products.
• Provide technical support to production and sales departments.
• Liaise with management on design and development decisions.

Skills

Our client, a specialist and innovative manufacturer are on the hunt for a motivated Design Engineer to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and technical support of products.

Other responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support to production and sales departments
• Assist in the building and testing of prototypes from concept to pre-production stage.
• Liaise with management in decisions relating to design and development
• Produce, maintain and manage technical assembly and manufacturing drawings.

Experience or Qualifications

• Degree level educated in Mechanical / Design Engineering subject
• Proficient in 3D CAD (ideally Siemens NX) to create and issue technical drawings
• Understanding of fluid circuits or electrical systems is desirable
• Experience of working with mechanical systems such as drivetrains.

Candidates who currently are a Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer or DFM Engineer may be suitable for this position.
