Job summary

Fynity Limited in Leeds is seeking an experienced Head of Design on a 12-month maternity-cover FTC to lead a multidisciplinary design team. This is a strategic leadership role focused on direction, quality and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

You will oversee UX/UI, digital experiences, branding, campaigns and motion, ensuring high standards while empowering the wider Design team. Hybrid work around Leeds with onsite presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• Senior-level design leadership experience in a digital agency or in-house team.
• Proven ability to direct multi-disciplinary design work across UX/UI, brand and campaigns.
• Strong creative direction with strategic and operational impact.
• Experience mentoring and developing designers at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary Design team across UX/UI, digital design, brand and motion.
• Set and maintain the agency-wide creative standard and strategic direction.
• Provide senior creative direction on high-profile client projects and pitches.
• Balance creative ambition with feasibility, accessibility and performance.
