Murphy is recruiting for a Design Coordinator to work with the Energy Team covering Linear Projects.

We deliver Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects for both regulated and private customers, along with technical and engineering solutions within conventional power and energy transition markets. A day in the life of a Murphy Design Coordinator:

• Review submissions for quality and sufficiency.
• Lead design engineering on small/medium projects as directed.
• Coordinate and manage design activities involving internal designers, consultants, suppliers, and interface contractors.
• Ensure proper setup and utilization of Aconex (or alternative client-approved CDE system) by all stakeholders.
• Monitor, track, and report on design progress against the project schedule.
• Oversee constructability and permanent works considerations related to Temporary Works.
• Review design progress and details using CAD/BIM tools.
• Monitor and report on Design NCRs and their resolution.
• Liaise with Surveyors, Buyers, Contract Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, and Estimators to foster teamwork on each project.
