As a Design Coordinator, you'll support the Design Manager in developing, coordinating, and delivering detailed technical information for a luxury residential project featuring spa and leisure facilities. The role offers hands‑on exposure to design management, coordination, and detailing across multiple packages including drylining, suspended ceilings, façades, and interior joinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review design documentation and assist in coordinating detailed information across all trades.
  • Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design queries.
  • Prepare and issue RFIs, track responses, and maintain design records.
  • Coordinate design information for drylining, suspended ceilings, façades, and joinery packages.
  • Produce and update CAD drawings and assist with 3D coordination and detailing.
  • Work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure design intent aligns with buildability and installation methods.
  • Support the Design Manager in preparing submittals, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Ensure all design work complies with Building Regulations and project‑specific standards.
  • Attend design meetings, take minutes, and follow up on design actions.
  • Monitor and record design changes, assisting the commercial team in evaluating impacts.
Requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience coordinating drylining, suspended ceilings, façades, or joinery packages.
  • Strong technical awareness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in high‑end residential or commercial fit‑out environments preferred.
