UK Power Networks is seeking a Design Clerk EPN to join the Bury St Edmunds office. You will report to the Design Lead and work as a permanent member of the UKPN team, coordinating between customers, project managers and designers.
The role covers design coordination across directorates, notifiable project notifications, and maintaining design progress via P6, with site meetings and some travel. A £41,031 salary plus 3% bonus and blended working after six months are offered.

The Design Clerk will report to the Design Lead and will be based in our Bury St Edmunds office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of £41,031 and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

You will be responsible for monitoring, enabling and coordination between customers, project managers and designers.
The post holder will be working across UKPN directorates and external customers collating stakeholder requirements ensuring the necessary information is available as part of the design process.
You will receive projects from Design Lead and assist the coordination of designers in reaching agreement of the scope of works and deliverables in the forms of milestones. The design clerk will work closely with and support, designers, design lead, principal designers and the wider engineering function.

Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
