  • Review and check the work of others, providing technical guidance and supervision to junior or less experienced staff.
  • Obtain, interpret and analyse technical information, reporting findings clearly and accurately.
  • Prepare and present engineering solutions through drawings, reports, calculations and other technical outputs.
  • Produce engineering drawings and reports, and undertake site surveys as required.
  • Develop designs that meet client requirements and comply with relevant standards, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and cost‑effective.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of health, safety and welfare legislation, including the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations, and ensure these principles are embedded within designs.
Skills & Experience Required
  • A relevant degree qualification; candidates working towards a professional qualification are preferred. Applicants with equivalent experience who do not fully meet the academic criteria are also encouraged to apply.
  • A strong technical background in the design of water and/or wastewater non‑infrastructure works is desirable, although candidates from related engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office and a working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD.
