Location: Enfield

A specialist SEMH therapeutic secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join the team from the summer term on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will teach resistant materials and product design with a strong emphasis on woodwork.

The Role

This is a full time post within the school’s Design and Technology department. You will teach mixed ability classes across KS3 and KS4.

  • In Years 7 and 8, students access a broad introduction to DT, and your focus will be teaching foundational woodwork skills.
  • From Year 9 onward, students follow the AQA Product Design pathway. You will deliver across both KS3 and KS4 courses with a continued focus on woodwork and resistant materials.

You will take responsibility for planning, teaching, learning, assessment and coursework preparation. You will be joining an established, supportive team with strong professional development opportunities.
