Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Design Technology to join a well-established secondary school in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking through a varied and dynamic Design Technology curriculum.

As a valued member of the DT department, you will deliver engaging lessons across a range of specialisms, supporting students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. You will play a key role in fostering innovation, confidence, and technical knowledge, preparing learners for further education and future careers in design, engineering, and technology.

This is a full-time, permanent role within a secondary school setting, starting in September 2025. The position is offered on the Main Pay Range/Upper Pay Range, ensuring your expertise and contribution are recognised.   • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
