Job Title: Design Admin Assistant – Footwear & Accessories

Reporting to: Design Director

Location: London

Contract Type: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Design Admin Assistant to support our Footwear & Accessories Design team. You’ll be at the heart of the creative process, helping bring sketches to life, managing CADs, styling boards, and samples, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from concept to proto meetings.

Responsibilities

CAD & Design Support:

  • Edit design sketches in Photoshop/Illustrator, adding textures, materials, and colour options; create 3D drawings where possible.
  • Maintain and update CADs in Sample Charts per Book month.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of physical Styling Boards for Proto meetings.
  • Prepare and organise samples, lab dips, strike-offs, and mock-ups for key meetings.
  • Liaise with factories under designers’ guidance and manage materials, fabric, components, and trims information.
  • Conduct design research and assist Footwear & Accessories designers with meeting prep, sample management, and expenses.
  • Take notes during Fit meetings and update drawings and details as required.

General Administration:

  • Maintain professional relationships with head office teams.
  • Manage courier, DHL, and post activities.
  • Organise and maintain filing systems, including fabric & trim archives, sketch files, and library resources.
  • Keep the Design office tidy and efficient daily.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; 3D design experience is a plus.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced design environment.
  • Knowledge of design processes, fabric/materials, and prototyping is desirable.
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
